Visiting this shop felt like going straight back to childhood memories. There is a huge collection of Punjabi heritage items, old toys, and other cultural items. Each item was bringing back some memory or the other.
A surprising thing came to light after talking to the shop owner — he used to go to school in my father’s bus as a child. How small the world is! Celebrating this memory, he gifted us Gurmukhi slates — a big loving gesture.
There is also a Punjabi restaurant right in front of the shop, where you get to see a glimpse of old Punjab through handmade models. The food here was just like a mother’s hands — full of flavor and full of freshness.
The vibes of the entire shop were very warm and welcoming. The owner’s love for his soil and respect for history were reflected in everything. This place is not just for shopping, but for reliving memories, stories and encountering culture.
If you want to relive Punjabi heritage or show it to your children, then this is a must-see place.
